When Does a Generator Have No Resale Value Left?

Units with catastrophic engine damage, obsolete emissions tiers that can’t legally operate in most jurisdictions anymore, or corrosion and structural damage severe enough to make transport unsafe generally aren’t worth reselling. For these units, scrapping for metal recovery value, after proper fluid removal, is usually the realistic endpoint.
